1. About us

This website is run by PARKERBAITS LTD trading as ParkerBaits ("we", "us", "our"). We are registered in England and Wales.

2. These terms

These terms apply to every order you place with us through this website. Please read them before you order. By placing an order, you agree to them. They apply to customers buying as consumers. Trade and wholesale customers are covered by separate terms, which we'll give you when you open a trade account.

You must be 18 or over to place an order.

3. Our products

Our baits are made with natural ingredients. Their colour, size, smell and texture can vary slightly from batch to batch and from the photos on our website. This doesn't affect how they perform.

All our products are angling bait and are not for human consumption. Some products may contain ALLERGENS, e.g. nuts, fish, milk or egg. Please check the product page, and keep bait away from children and pets.

Freezer baits must be put in the freezer as soon as they arrive. Shelf-life products should be stored as shown on the pack. We aren't responsible for products that spoil because they weren't stored as directed.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling and include VAT. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you pay.

We take payment when you place your order. If we find a pricing mistake that's obvious, we'll contact you before dispatch. You can then choose to go ahead at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

5. Your order

After you place an order, we'll email you to confirm we've received it. The contract between us starts when we email you to say your order has been dispatched.

If we can't accept your order, for example because an item is out of stock or we can't deliver to your address, we'll tell you and refund you in full.

6. Delivery

Our delivery prices, couriers, dispatch times and freezer bait rules are set out on our Delivery page, which forms part of these terms. Delivery times are estimates. We aren't responsible for delays caused by couriers or by events outside our control, but we'll help you chase any late parcel.

Your order is your responsibility once it has been delivered to the address you gave us, or to a safe place or neighbour you chose. The goods become yours once we've received full payment.

7. Your right to cancel

For most products, you can cancel your order within 14 days of the day it arrives, without giving a reason. To cancel, email info@parkerbaits.co.uk with your order number. You then have 14 days from telling us to send the items back.

Items must be returned unused and in their original, sealed packaging. You pay the cost of returning them unless they're faulty or we sent the wrong item. We'll refund you within 14 days of receiving the items back, including the standard delivery charge you originally paid. We don't refund the extra cost if you chose Express. We may reduce your refund if an item has been handled more than was needed to inspect it.

The right to cancel doesn't apply to:

• freezer bait or any other perishable product that can spoil quickly
• bait, liquids and additives that have been opened or unsealed after delivery, as they can't be resold for health and hygiene reasons

8. Faulty or incorrect items

If something arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Within 30 days of delivery, you can reject it for a full refund. After that, you're entitled to a repair or replacement, or a refund if that isn't possible.

Please report any problem as soon as you can, and within 24 hours for freezer bait that arrives defrosted or damaged. Send a photo and your order number to info@parkerbaits.co.uk. We'll cover the cost of returning faulty or incorrect items. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

9. Discount codes and promotions

Discount codes, affiliate codes and promotions can't be exchanged for cash. Unless stated otherwise, only one code can be used per order, and codes can't be applied to orders that have already been placed. We may withdraw a promotion at any time, but not for orders already accepted. Each promotion may have its own terms, which will be shown with it.

10. Our responsibility to you

We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.

We're not responsible for:

• loss that wasn't foreseeable when the contract was made
• any business losses, as our products are sold for private use
• your fishing results. Bait performance depends on many things we can't control, including venue, weather, conditions and rigs.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited under law.

11. Events outside our control

We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as courier strikes, severe weather or supplier failures. If this happens, we'll contact you as soon as we can. If the delay is significant, you can cancel and receive a refund for anything you've paid for but not received.

12. Your personal information

We only use your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Our website and content

All content on this website, including text, photos, videos, logos and product names, belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

14. Complaints

If you're unhappy with anything, please email info@parkerbaits.co.uk and we'll do our best to put it right quickly.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one on our website when you placed it.

16. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
