Description

Pure Maize is a bright, highly visible particle bait designed to give carp an easy-to-find food source with plenty of natural attraction.

Its vivid yellow colour makes it stand out clearly on the lakebed, while the naturally sweet profile gives it an instant edge in a wide range of fishing situations.

Extremely versatile, Pure Maize can be used on the hook, mixed into particles, added to spod mixes or introduced as part of a wider baiting approach.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM PURE MAIZE?

HIGH-VISUAL ATTRACTION

The bright yellow colour makes Pure Maize easy for carp to spot, helping create a clear visual target amongst darker pellets, boilies and particles.

This makes it especially useful when you want your bait to stand out on the lakebed.

NATURALLY SWEET

Maize has a naturally sweet profile that makes it a proven addition to particle mixes.

Its simple food signal works brilliantly alongside other particles, pellets and boilies without overpowering the rest of your bait.

INCREDIBLY VERSATILE

Pure Maize can be used in a huge number of ways.

Fish it directly on the hook, mix it through spod mixes, combine it with other particles or use it to add colour and contrast to your baited area.

IDEAL FOR BUILDING CONFIDENCE

Scatter Pure Maize through your swim to create lots of small food items and encourage carp to search around the baited area.

It works particularly well as part of a mixed particle approach where you want fish moving between individual pieces of bait.

BEST WAYS TO USE PURE MAIZE

ADD IT TO PARTICLE MIXES

Combine Pure Maize with hemp, tiger nuts or other particles to create a varied feeding area with plenty of colour and texture.

ADD IT TO SPOD MIXES

Mix it through pellets, particles and boilie crumb to add bright visual attraction to your feed.

FISH IT ON THE HOOK

Pure Maize can also be used directly as a simple hookbait when you want a natural presentation that matches your free offerings.

MIX IT WITH BOILIES

Add Pure Maize to a boilie-based approach to introduce smaller food items and keep carp searching around the swim.

ABOUT THE PARTICLE RANGE

Made to a higher standard.

No soaking, no boiling, no guessing whether it's been done long enough. Open it and it goes in the water.

READY TO USE

Straight in the water

Prepared properly before it reaches you, so there's no overnight soak and no pan on the hob the day before a session.

SAFE FOR THE FISH

Prepared, not part-cooked

Improperly prepared particles are why so many venues ban them. Turbo, our chef at Particle Paradise, cooks every last batch to the same standard.

SHELF LIFE OR FREEZER

However you store

Shelf life jars sit in our own formula liquid and keep without a freezer. Freezer bait for anyone who'd rather buy in bulk and pull a bag out when it's needed.

500g TO 5kg

Fish feed for longer

Small enough to try something new for a single session, big enough to keep a spot going all summer.

ACROSS THE RANGE

Small and busy, or big and bold.

Hemp is the one that gets them grubbing — small, dark and awkward to pick up, so fish stay on the spot working for it rather than filling up and moving on. Maize and buckwheat are brighter and easier to see, cheap enough to go in heavily, and a good backbone for any mix. Nuts are the standout bait — Nossa Nuts and Tiger Nut Crush carry a natural sweetness carp travel for, and a single nut on the hook over a bed of them is as old and reliable as it gets. Mixes do the job for you: Hemp & Maize for the classic combination, Chilli Hemp for something with a bit more bite, Sexy Spod Mix when you want a full spod load sorted in one jar.

Need to know

Questions about this range.

Do I need to prepare these myself?

Everything arrives prepared and ready to use — no soaking, no boiling, no waiting. Open it and it goes in the water.

What's the difference between shelf life and freezer?

Shelf life comes in a jar of our own formula liquid, which keeps it in good condition unopened, so it can live in the van or the garage until you need it. Freezer bait is exactly that — kept frozen until the session. Same particles either way; it's about how you'd rather store your bait.

What's the liquid in the jar for?

It keeps the particles fresh until the best before date.

Which size should I buy?

500g is enough to try something new or top up a margin spot. 1kg and 3kg cover most sessions. 5kg is for anyone baiting a spot regularly through the summer or spodding heavily.

Can I use particles on my lake?

Most venues allow prepared particles and ban unprepared ones because unprepared seeds and nuts can harm fish - but rules vary, and some waters restrict certain baits or quantities regardless. Worth a look at the rule sheet before you load the barrow.
