Description

OG Fish Supercharged Hard Hookers

When you need a tougher hookbait than a standard boilie straight from the bag, our OG Fish Supercharged Hard Hookers are built for the job.

Packed with high-quality fishmeals and spices, then finished with the classic combination of squid and octopus, OG Fish delivers a rich, savoury profile that has proven itself time and time again.

Made using the same base mix as our OG Fish Boilies, these hard hookers are generously flavoured throughout production to pack in plenty of attraction.

What Can You Expect from OG Fish Hard Hookers?

Super-Hard Consistency

With a much firmer texture than a standard boilie, these hookbaits are ideal for waters with nuisance species or whenever you want to leave your rods out for longer periods.

Their tough consistency helps your hookbait stay intact for longer, resisting softening and breakdown.

A Perfect Match for OG Fish Boilies

When you want a tougher hookbait without moving away from your chosen bait, these are the ideal option.

Made from the same base mix and carrying the same flavour profile as our OG Fish Boilies, they allow you to match your loose feed while benefiting from a more durable hookbait.

More about our Hook Baits

From balance and buoyancy through to flavour matching - see what goes into every wafter, pop-up and hard hooker

ABOUT THE HOOK BAIT RANGE

Built for the hook, not the spod

Hook baits do a different job to feed, so they're made differently - tougher, balanced to sit how you need them, and carrying more attractant than the bait around them.

MATCHED TO THE BED

Same flavour, same signal

Match The Hatch pop-ups and wafters carry the OG Fish and OG Fruit & Nut profiles, so the hook bait reads as part of the free offerings rather than the odd one out.

BALANCED

Sits how you need it

Pop-up, wafter, bottom bait or hard hooker - pick the buoyancy to suit the lake bed and the rig, from sat proud over silt to pinned flat on gravel.

DURABLE

Still fishing at dawn

Supercharged Hard Hookers hold up through nuisance fish and long waits, so you're not reeling in at first light to find a bare hook.

LOADED

Leaks all session

Every bait carries a heavy attract load that keeps working long after it's gone in — and takes a soak well if you want to push it further.

ACROSS THE RANGE

Pick the presentation, not just the flavour.

The choice is really about how the bait sits and how much it stands out. Pop-ups for silt, weed and chod rigs — up and visible. Wafters for a balanced bait that gets sucked in like a free offering. Bottom baits over a clean spot. Hard hookers for nuisance fish and long night waits.

Questions about this range.

Which presentation should I use?

Pop-ups sit up off the bottom, so they're the choice over silt, light weed or anything that could mask a bait. Wafters sit balanced — the most natural option and the one most people fish by default. Bottom baits are for clean, firm spots. Hard hookers are for when nuisance fish or a long overnight wait would strip a softer bait.

Do I need to match my hook bait to my boilie?

It helps when fish are feeding confidently — Match The Hatch pop-ups and wafters carry the same OG Fish and OG Fruit & Nut profiles as the boilies, so nothing on the hook smells out of place. On pressured water, the opposite can work better: a fluoro bait standing out over a bed of free offerings.

What sizes do they come in?

Sizes are matched to the presentation rather than offered across the board. Hard Hookers come in 14mm and 18mm — bigger baits that stand up to nuisance fish and hold their shape through a long wait. Magic Bean Wafters and the pop-ups come in 12mm and 15mm, so you can drop down for wary fish or go up for a bigger visual target. Match The Hatch Wafters and Lightweight Bottom Baits are 14mm, sized to sit alongside 14mm boilies as a natural-looking hook bait.

How long do they last once opened?

Keep the lid on and they'll stay usable through the season. If you glug them, they'll keep taking on liquid the longer they sit — a pot topped up before a session will be leaking harder by the time you get there.

Can I fish these on zigs or on the surface?

Zigs and surface fishing have their own baits in the range: Magic Bean Zigs and Leaky Zigs for the upper layers. For surface fishing, pop-ups and wafters can work too.
